1.5万名科学家再次警告 地球正在走向崩溃

13日，15,365名科学家在学术期刊《生物科学》（BioScience）上，发表第二版的《世界科学家对人类的警告》（World Scientists’Warning to Humanity），指出目前的地球与25年前相比，情况严重恶化，若再不觉醒，将造成5.4亿年来的〝第六次大灭绝〞。
1992年，美国科学家组织〝担忧的科学家联合会〞（Union of Concerned Scientists）号召1700个科学家，共同发表第一版《世界科学家对人类的警告》，强调人类活动严重伤害地球环境，如不停止，将酿成无法挽回的后果。
而13日的第二版联合声明再次指出，25年来，人类破坏环境的行为更加严重了，如不断大量使用化石燃料造成温室效应、破坏森林、非永续农业、过分捕捞海洋生物、污染及浪费水资源导致淡水不足、缺氧海域〝死亡区〞（Dead Zone）扩大等等。
